Affiliate commission schedule
20% of what each agent you introduce pays, rising to 30% as your active referrals grow, for their first 24 months. The agents you refer get 50% off their first month of Pro, and your own Pro plan is on us while the agreement runs.
Commission rate
You earn a share of the subscription payments we receive from each agent you referred. The share rises with the number of your referred agents who hold a paid subscription, unless a different rate was agreed in writing when your application was approved:
- 1 to 9 active paying referrals: 20%
- 10 to 24 active paying referrals: 25%
- 25 or more active paying referrals: 30%
- Your tier is read on the first day of each calendar month, from the number of agents you referred who hold a paid subscription on that day. It sets the rate for every payment we receive during that month, including an annual payment, whose instalments all carry that rate. A new tier applies from the next month on; it is never applied to payments already received.
- As a worked example, an agent on Pro at $99 a month earns you $19.80 for each month they pay at the 20% tier, or $29.70 at the 30% tier. An agent who stays the full 24 months at the 20% tier earns you $475.20. Plans and prices are the ones published on our pricing page at the time of each payment.
- Commission is calculated on the subscription price the agent actually paid, after any refund, chargeback or account credit applied to that payment, and before payment processing fees.
What the agents you refer get
- An agent who enters your code and subscribes to Pro on the monthly plan pays 50% less for their first month, applied at checkout. That is the offer to put in front of your audience.
- The half-price first month replaces the referral programme's $49 referee credit for that agent. An agent who uses your code on Starter or on an annual plan gets the standard referee credit instead.
- Your commission on that first payment is on the discounted amount they actually paid, like any other payment.
Your own subscription
- While the agreement is in force, your own Propoa account is on the Pro plan at no charge, so you are using the plan you talk about. It starts on the day we approve your application. If you are paying for a plan at that point, we stop charging you from your next renewal; the period you have already paid for is not refunded.
- For the first 90 days after approval it is unconditional. After that it continues for each calendar month in which the first-day reading that sets your commission tier shows at least one agent you referred holding a paid subscription. In a month where it does not, the plan pauses at the end of that month: you keep your account and everything in it, and may subscribe to any plan yourself in the meantime. It resumes from the next monthly reading on which you again have one.
- It ends when the agreement ends, whichever side ends it. If it ends without a breach, we tell you the date the plan stops and you may subscribe before then without losing anything.
- The plan is provided for promoting Propoa. It has no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged for commission or credit, and is not a subscription paid for by you for any purpose under the agreement. Your own account never counts as a referral.
Commission period
- Each referred agent earns you commission for the first 24 months of their paid subscription, counted from the day they first pay. After that their subscription earns you nothing further.
- Instalments are only earned for months of service that fall inside that 24-month period. If an agent who has been paying monthly switches to an annual plan, the instalments for the months of that year beyond the end of their commission period are not earned.
Annual payments
- An annual payment earns commission at your rate for the month we receive it, but it is earned and paid in 12 equal monthly instalments, one for each month of service the agent has actually received, on the same timetable as if they had paid monthly. Each annual payment covers 12 of the agent's 24-month commission period.
- If any part of an annual payment is refunded or charged back, the instalments for the months not delivered are cancelled.
When commission becomes payable
- Commission on a payment is held until that payment can no longer be reversed, and becomes payable only if the agent's subscription is still active and paid at the end of the holding period. For a payment made by PayNow, which cannot be recalled, that is 60 days after the payment. For a card payment, which the agent's bank can charge back for months afterwards, it is 120 days.
- If the agent cancels, lapses, refunds or charges back during the holding period, the held commission on that payment is cancelled.
- For an annual payment, each of the 12 monthly instalments becomes payable once the month of service it covers has started and the payment's own holding period has passed, whichever is later.
Payouts
- We pay commission that has become payable monthly, by the 15th, for everything that became payable in the previous calendar month, with a statement showing how it was calculated.
- We pay in Singapore dollars by PayNow to the mobile number, NRIC-linked account or UEN you register with us. Payouts below $50 roll over to the next month.
This schedule forms part of the affiliate programme agreement, which sets out who can join, how referrals are tracked, and what an affiliate must and must not do. A referred agent is settled under the versions of both published on the day they entered your code.
