Deleting your Propoa account
Your account is scheduled for deletion 30 days after you ask, and everything in it goes with it. Sign in at any point during those 30 days to call it off.
Only want to remove part of it? You can delete individual records without closing your account.
How to delete it
- In the Propoa app, open More → Delete account. On the web, sign in and go to Settings → Delete account.
- Take the full export offered on that screen if you want a copy of your data. Once the account is gone we have no copy to send you.
- Type DELETE to confirm. There is nothing to email us about.
Your account is then deleted 30 days later. Signing in at any point during those 30 days cancels it and puts everything back exactly as it was - nothing is removed until the window closes. We do it this way because an account deleted by accident is otherwise impossible to recover.
What is deleted
- Every client, including their contact details, consent history and important dates
- All viewings, deals, commissions, expenses and income
- Uploaded documents, and the CEA registration scan used to verify you
- Your message templates, listings, reminders and saved settings
- Your feedback posts and votes, and any referral credit on your account
- Your sign-in details, so the account can no longer be logged into
After that, it is final
Once the 30 days are up the deletion is final. We keep no backup and nobody here can bring the account back afterwards - not on request, not by contacting support. Take the export first if there is any chance you will want the data.
Imported calendar events are cleared from this device. Your actual calendar is untouched - but whether you restore this account or start a new one, re-importing reaches back 90365, so anything older than that will not reappear in Propoa.
Viewings you logged in Propoa are not calendar events. They belong to the account and go with it, along with their notes, outcomes and the clients attached to them. Re-importing a calendar restores appointments from your phone or Google - never the viewings you recorded here.
Signing up again later gives you a new, empty account. It does not restore the old one, and there is no way for us to reconnect the two.
What is kept, and for how long
- Everything, for the first 30 days - that is what makes the deletion reversible. Nothing is removed until the window closes.
- For up to 7 days after that, while a member of our team checks the deletion before it runs - so an account is never kept longer than 37 days from the day you ask. This catches our own mistakes; it is not a review of your decision.
- Server request logs, which our hosting provider keeps for no more than 7 days and which contain no client data.
- The count of referral rewards already issued against your referral code, kept without any personal details so the annual cap still holds.
Everything else goes once the 30 days are up and the deletion is approved - in one pass, not trickled out over time, and never later than 37 days from the day you asked.
Deleting some of your data without closing your account
You do not have to delete your Propoa account to remove data from it. Clients, deals, listings, leases, commissions, expenses and uploaded documents can each be deleted on their own.
- Open the record in the Propoa app or the web dashboard - a client, deal, listing, lease, commission, expense or document.
- Choose Delete on that record. It disappears from Propoa immediately, along with the details attached to it.
- Changed your mind? Open More → Recently deleted and restore it, any time within 30 days.
After those 30 days a nightly sweep destroys the record for good, and nothing about it is kept. Uploaded documents skip the waiting period - deleting one removes the file straight away, and it cannot be restored. Your account, and everything you did not delete, is untouched either way.
